President/Owner-Master Colorist

Say “Brazil” and you immediately think of sophisticated music, expansive beaches, the sun, color, hot culture. That’s where I came from to New York to follow a dream of working in the fashion and beauty industry. With my artistic background, I always wanted to help people improve their personal style and feel great about themselves.

I began my career in the heart of NYC in early 1995 on Madison Avenue, across the street from Barney’s, NY. My eyes opened wide to a new world of techniques as I learned from some of the top hair colorists in the business, enabling me to qualify as a master colorist. Over the next 4 years, I worked with L’Oreal International in their stylist division creating fashion model makeovers for some of the top magazines and hair shows. It was then that I wanted to establish a name for myself and Westchester County (where I lived) proved to be the right move. My clientele expanded as I worked in several upscale salons in White Plains, Eastchester and Armonk.

Then a fabulous opportunity developed for Paulo with the purchase of his own salon “Paulo’s Atelier”. With its European flair and sharp, modern furniture it is a vision Paulo had for many years.

With the support of his clientele and friends, its here where I can offer my expertise in color in a unique, comfortable and highly professional atmosphere.

Salon Manager

Natalie has been in the beauty industry since 1983. Her career began as an assistant stylist in the Adam & Eve Corporation. With her talent, drive and enthusiasm, Natalie rapidly became a sought after hairstylist/colorist. She has had extensive education in a wide range of services, retail as well as working closely with the Aveda Corporation in numerous beauty shows as a platform artist. She stayed on with this company for over 10 years, benefiting from being involved in all aspects of the salon. Utilizing her knowledge, experience and love for the beauty industry, she continued to advance in her career.

It is Natalie’s dedication and diligence that lay the foundation for Paulo’s Atelier successful day to day operations. Coordinating everything from scheduling to customer relations, to behind the scenes operations, Natalie creates a seamless and stress-free salon experience for everyone who walks through the door. Her consistent smiling face and optimistic motivation helps drive Paulo’s Atelier to achieve the level of service clients have come to expect.

Kathleen joined Paulo two years ago in hopes of finding a kindred spirit as well as a professional atmosphere to best accommodate her loyal following.

Trained in NYC at Suga Salon, Kathleen eventually balanced her energy by maintaining a clientele in Northern Westchester and Manhattan, while raising her family. It was a challenge to find a suitable salon that could meet her clients needs as well as her own.

Having now settled in contentedly at Paulo's, she continues to thrive in this industry by creating a tapestry of colors geared to the myriad needs of her lovely clients. Bonding with them helps her to celebrate the whole person-and helps her to deliver results more effectively.

Stylist/Colorist

Cecilia, came from Paraquay at the age of 16, completed her education in the U.S and started her career in the beauty industry. With a decade of experience, Cecilia enjoys offering her clients a full line of services from cutting to coloring as well as being a straightening specialist. Come into Paulo’s Atelier and experience the high quality and friendly services Cecilia has to offer.

Stylist/Colorist, Hair Extension Specialist

Crystal has worked in the hair industry for over10 years. After completing cosmetology school, Crystal studied intensively at the Vidal Sasson Academy in Santa Monica, California. Since then Crystal has worked at Elisabeth Arden Salon and Spa in White Plains and Richard Scott Salon in Mount Kisco. She is always taking advanced classes to further her education and keeps up to date with the latest trends and style. Crystal is certified in the Keratin Therapy Treatment.

Stylist/Colorist

Cathy has been apart of Paulo’s Atelier since the opening in 2007. She enjoys all aspects of the business, including cutting, coloring and specializing in Keratin Complex Therapy Treatment. For your convenience Cathy also offers blow-dry services at THE GYM in Armonk.

Colorist

Born and raised in Westchester, New York, Derrek came to our team as an experienced colorist with extensive corrective color training with Goldwell and Aveda. He is known as a “seasonal” color specialist, implementing delicate changes to his regular clients upon new season’s arrival and at the same time keeping his work artistic and highly personalized. His dimensional brunettes are increasingly becoming his trademark. His genuine and friendly demeanor makes him a much sought after colorist, but in the end it is his artistic talent that makes each client a loyal fan. Ever the insatiable, his passion for the art of color constantly drives him to seek new techniques and ways to improve his craft. Also a professional musician, playing alongside rock luminaries such as Ace Frehley of KISS, Derrek continues to travel the world, keeping his finger on the pulse of fashion and music.

Stylist/Hair Replacement Specialist

Tony worked in the Westchester area for many years. Along with two friends Tony founded Adam & Eve Enterprises in Scarsdale, NY. Within three years six Adam & Eve Salons opened. Tony was apart of opening “Headmasters Academy” school of advanced haircutting where he trained students, many who went on to open their own salons.

During this time, Tony saw the need for a special service, “Hair Replacement” for men and woman. He specializes in helping woman going through Chemotherapy. “Seeing a smile on their face after a fitting and cutting has to be the most rewarding part of my career”.

It has been 20 years since the opening of Adam & Eve Salon in Bedford Hills in which Tony solely owned and operated. After sometime it was time for Tony to make way for something new. Selling the salon to Paulo Gregorio and joining his staff at Paulo’s Atelier, a state of the art salon with a new vision renewed Tony’s passion for the industry and looking back says, “I have had one beautiful ride”.

Stylist/Colorist

Heidi has been in the hairdressing industry for many years. She started her career in Germany were she had extensive training in all aspects of hairdressing. She enjoys coloring, highlighting and creating new looks on her clients. Heidi is certified in Japanese straightening, Keratin Complex Therapy, Deva Curl Concept and continues with advancement in the fashion and beauty industry. Formerly of “Adam & Eve” Heidi is happy to be a part of Paulo’s Atelier.

Stylist/Colorist

With over 20 years experience Marie grew a love for the beauty industry and servicing her clients. Well rounded in all areas of the business, Marie specializes in haircutting, haircoloring, perms and updos. Trained in Keratin Complex Therapy Treatment she continues her education in the latest trends. Formerly of Adam & Eve, now excited to be a part of this beautiful salon and a great team.

As a 2007 graduate from Carsten Institute of Manhattan, a sister school of Aveda, Justin brings chic, trendy, youthful styles using the French Technique to Paulo’s Atelier.

Already in his young career, Justin has had several accomplishments such as; Westchester Magazines “Best Barber” and “Best Classic Shave.” Justin is trained and certified in the Keratin Complex Therapy Treatment and continues advanced cutting and coloring classes. His joy is learning and his openness to new things has a very favorable effect on our salon.

Nail Technician, Make up Artist

Make Up Artist

Georgia began her career as a makeup artist over fifteen years ago. In that time, she has worked for many well-known New York photographers. In 1995 Georgia began working as the in-house hair and makeup artist for three photographers, shooting many top models and celebrities. She also began to work on music videos and calendars. Her expertise caught the eye of several top modeling agencies in New York; Click, Next, Ford and Elite. She quickly became one of their most sought after makeup artists. Her talent and eye for fashion also allowed Georgia to act as stylist on many photo shoots having the responsibility of selecting clothes, accessories and hairstyles for the entire layout.

Georgia also expanded into television. She worked as a makeup artist on a syndicated television news program, “American Journal” doing makeup for co-anchors Charles Perez and Michelle Dabney-Perez. In 1998, she started to work the tents in Bryant Park during fashion week. She continues to book for the indusrty’s top photogs and agencies. Recently, Georgia decided to work locally in Westchester County giving many local residents the unbelievable opportunity to hire one of the industry’s best!
